In
November 2002, looking to officially come out of the ship geek closet and
connect with other liner collectors and enthusiasts, I started an online
collectors club using Yahoo Groups. Since its inception, the club has
amassed over 475 subscribers ranging from well-known collectors, historians,
authors, memorabilia dealers, and more. The goal was to create an online
community for sharing expertise, spotting phonies, buying, selling and trading.
The response has been incredible and I've made many new friends who I've since
met in person and enjoyed their collections. |

Subscribing
is simple, and if you set your preferences to "no email," you can simply
bookmark and visit the homepage at your convenience to peruse the posts.
It's not a heavy traffic site like
LinersList
or even the
Yahoo
SS United States group, so even if you choose the email option, you
won't be overrun with posts. New subscriber's posts are moderated to
prevent spam, and the members list is kept private for the same reason.
It's a very civil environment to make new friends and indulge your inner
shipgeek, so by all means, come on aboard by clicking on the link below! |
